Aries Sign and Constellation

Aries is a distinct set of 3 stars. Though it brightest star Hamal is only 66th in brightness, Aires exists in a significant region of the sky between Taurus and Pisces. Those gazing to the stars in the Northern hemisphere can notice the Pleiades [the Seven Sisters] as a loose cluster of stars. The Bright Star Capella [6th in brightness] is nearby. The major Constellation of Orion is further below. The easily recognizable "W" of Cassiopeia seen above. 

By following the Aries Constellation towards the Milky Way disk, you pass by our “Local Group” spiral Triangulum Galaxy [M33] to the Great Andromeda Galaxy [M31] with its two connected Dwarf Galaxies [M32, M110] Following this line of local galaxies up from the Aries Constellation [M33 to M32-M31-M110], we get to Cassiopeia A, our brightest source of Radio Light to reach Earth.

The Sun is usually in Aries starting at the Spring Equinox for the Northern Hemisphere. Different books might be a day or two different as to the start or ending of theAries Sign. This will depend on the actual year, location and other information necessary for one's accurate Birth Chart.
